Uladzimir Andreichanka is proposed for head of House of Representatives

The head of Vitsebsk Region Executive Committee Uladzimir Andreichanka has been proposed for head of the House of Representatives. “Interfax” informs about it. Let us remind you that the House of Representatives of the fourth convocation has got down to work today and the speaker and vice speaker have to be elected now.

Biographical note: Uladzimir Abdreichanka was born in 1949 into a peasants’ family in Lyozna District of Vitsebsk Region. He graduated from Velikolutskii Agricultural Institute (Russia) and from Minsk higher party school. He worked as an agronomist in Verhnyadzinsk District and was involved in Komsomol and party work in Lyozna District 17 years later. He was the head of the collective farm and of the district executive committee. He was a deputy of the Supreme Council of the 12th convocation and a member of the Council of the Republic of three convocations. He was appointed head of Vitsebsk Region Executive Committee in November 1994.
