US Department of State demands to release Alyaksandr Kazulin

The Department of State of the USA demands that the official Minsk should release a political prisoner Alyaksandr Kazulin. The speaker of the White House Gordon Johndroe claimed that the release of the politician was “a condition that had to be met in order to start a dialogue about normalization of relations”.

"Unfortunately, Belarus has not stopped repressions directed at its citizens. President Bush and the USA will support Belarusian citizens in their aspiration for freedom”, - stressed Johndroe.

Let us remind you that the European Commissioner for External Relations and Neighbourhood Policy Benita Ferrero-Waldner is also waiting for the Belarusian authorities to release Kazulin.
