US extends decision to ease sanctions against two Belarus factories
The US Treasury Department has extended till November 30, 2009 its decision to ease sanctions against two Belarusian enterprises -- Lakokraska and Polotsk-Steklovolokno -- which are part of the Belneftekhim petrochemical monopoly.
US citizens are allowed to cooperate with these factories. At the same time, their assets remain frozen in accordance with the previous decision of the American government.
US citizens are also banned to purchase products and technologies from the other companies on the 'black list' through mediation from these two enterprises, reports Belapan.
