Vandals steal granite plates from WWII memorial in Brest district
Over 30 granite plates were stolen by unidentified vandals from the Protest monument installed in memory of 55 orphans and their guardians that had been executed by Nazi in 1942 in the village of Domacheva.
The police in Brest have failed to track down the perpetrators and appealed through the media to local residents, seeking assistance in finding the vandals, writes newspaper Respublika.
