Varonezhtsava demands the police should return her personal belongings and money through the court

    Today the Central Court of Homel will consider the claim of Larysa Varonezhtsava against the interrogation administration of the department of internal affairs of Homel region executive committee, as informed by Radio Liberty.     The wife of the politician and civil activist Jury Varonezhtsau demands the administration should return her and her children their personal belongings and money - about 5 thousand dollars. They were confiscated back on May 18 during the search in the apartment of Jury Varonezhtsau. Such searches took place in the apartments of dozens of other activists of the civil campaign "Tell the Truth".

   The staff of the interrogation administration in Homel failed to explain what they were looking for - they took away computers, telephones, video cameras, video recordings and even Rammstein CDs. Larysa Varonezhtsava demands through the court that money and personal belongings, which are in no way connected with the "Tell the Truth" campaign, should be returned.
