Vasil Bulbyankou appointed as Belarus traffic police chief

Vasil Bulbyankou has been appointed as the head of the traffic police department at the Interior Ministry of Belarus, writes Komsomolskaya pravda v Belarusi.
He has been an acting commanding officer since November 11, 2008 when former traffic police chief Alexander Mendzeleu was sacked from his post.

From 2004 to 2008, Bulbyankou served as the chief of the Minsk Traffic Police. He was later fired but appointed as a deputy head of the country's traffic police 1.5 months later.
