Violations detected at polling station No 1 in Minsk

Serious violations of Electoral Code were detected on December 19 at the polling station No 1 in Minsk's Savetski District. Tamara Siarhei, observer from Belarusian Helsinki Committee, told Belapan that she could observe election commission members Siarhei Dzichkouski and Sviatlana Siamyonava holding elections in voters' houses on Election Day. Tamara noted that most of 20 voters visited by the commission members had never requested to vote at home. According to Tamara Siarhei, these election commission members violated the electoral laws by forcing citizens to vote.
