Volha Havartsova makes it to third round of Palermo tennis tournament

Belarusian Volha Havartsova (69th position in the world rating) has made it to the third round (quarter-final) of the tennis tournament in Palermo. Its prize fund is 220 thousand dollars. She managed to defeat Katerina Makarova from Russia in the second round — 6:2, 6:2. Let us remind you that Havartsova defeated Maria Elena Camerin from Italy in the first match of the tournament -  6:3, 6:3.

Belarusian Darya Kustova and Ukrainian Maria Korytseva defaeted Belarusian Tatsyana Puchak and Russian Alina Zhydkova in the doubles tournament — 6:1, 6:2.
