Volunteers from “Vkontakte” network conduct garbage collection action
A group of Vitsebsk volunteers organized one more garbage collection action on Sunday. Guys and girls cleaned the forestland near Luchosa railway station. About 20 people took part in the action. Volunteers work for free. They buy refuse bags and gloves and organize garbage pickup at their own expense.
The participants of the action got acquainted in the “Vkontakte” social network where they created a group called “No more garbage. Vitsebsk”. More than 300 people enrolled in the group. They are planning to collect garbage until it starts snowing and to get engaged in charity in winter. They are going to collect clothes, toys and treats for children from the children’s home.
