Wave runner driver injures Belarusian tourist (video)
A wave runner driver injured a 44-year-old Belarusian woman in St. Petersburg on the evening of August 17. It turned out that two wave runner drivers were competing in the Griboedov Canal although it was forbidden to do it. One of them decided to frighten a woman sitting near the water.
The driver approached her but did not manage to turn away and the engine injured the woman’s legs. The Belarusian got severe leg injuries that turned her into an invalid and an abdominal injury. The shocked woman was delivered to the resuscitation department.
The amputation of her leg has been delayed because the woman started feeling better. She has been transferred to the trauma surgery. The wave runner drives tried to flee but one of them was detained by policemen who had to shoot in the air to stop him, reports the “National News Agency”.
