Will border control be restored at Belarusian-Russian border?

Alyaksandr Lukashenka has charged the government with the elaboration of projects of check-points at the Belarusian-Russian border. The order was pronounced at the meeting of the leader of the state with the head of the State Control Committee Zyanon Lomats, informs “Interfax”.
“Check-points situated at the outer borders of the “union” state correspond to international standards. However, the situation at the Russian border requires immediate measures”, - noted the President’s press service.

Let us remind you that there has been no border control between the two states since 1996.
