Security agencies are preparing provocations directed against a deputy contender Ales Zarembyuk. According to Zarembyuk, they want to start criminal cases against him to make him withdraw from the elections. Zarembyuk is running for a deputy seat in Hrodna Region and Masty District Councils of Deputies. "As far as I know, KGB members from Hrodna arrived in Masty right after my registration as a deputy contender. They started organizing unofficial talks with people. They do not send them any summons, they just phone people and ask them to talk to them for various reasons. They meet them in the Office of the Public Prosecutor at number 15 Soviet St. in Masty. The people who met KGB members also have some conversation at work. One girl is threatened with losing her job and other problems if she refuses to sign a statement claiming that I raped her. Other people are simply made to give written statements about my involvement in drug traffic and my addiction. I know for sure that the actions of security agencies directed against me are connected with my active participation in the elections”, - claimed Ales  Zarembyuk.
