Will gas price for Belarus be defined in February?
Russia is supplying gas to Belarus at the old price. The new price will be defined at a meeting of Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Dmitrii Medvedev in Moscow in February. The Belarusian Ambassador to Ukraine Valyantsin Vyalichka has claimed it.
"Charter-97" reminds that there were rumours about an agreement on the terms of Russian gas supplies to Belarus in 2009 reached at the end of December. Representatives of “Beltransgaz” visited “Gazprom” on December 30 to discuss all the terms. However, no contract was signed and the Belarusian price for gas has not been announced yet.
