Women’s traffic lights appears in Vitsebsk

An accidental breakage of the traffic lights at one of the city’s crossroads has become a real joke for Vitsebskers. They can see a woman in a long skirt instead of a man’s silhouette in the red light now. “Komsomoslkaya Pravda v Belarusi” writes that the light signal head has become “gender-balanced”.

Belarus did not have any “gender” traffic lights before. However, there are traffic lights with women’s silhouettes in some European countries such as Sweden, Germany and Spain.
