World Day Without Car marked today
Car owners will have an opportunity to use public traffic for free today. They are only to show their driving licenses and technical passports at the entrance. This concerns all the city traffic, including subway, informed the Ministry of Transport and Communications, to the European Radio for Belarus.
However, this regulation does not cover fix-route taxi-buses, stated in the Ministry of Transport.
The decision to provide free transportation to car owners has been taken in all the big cities and regional centers of Belarus.
The international action "Day Without Car" is conducted annually in the whole world. It is planned that more than a thousand cities of 37 countries of the world will participate in the action this year.
