World DJ Day marked on March 9
World DJ Day is not only an official holiday, but also an important charity event, which is held on behalf of club industry.
UNESCO declared March 9 as the World DJ Day in 2002.
A charity action aimed at helping children's organizations are held annually in the framework of this holiday.
World DJ Fund and Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy, which use music to cure children and adults, initiate this action. All the incomes received by DJs, clubs and radio stations on this day go to different international children's funds and organizations.
