World Economic Forum starts in Davos, Switzerland
Annual meeting of the World Economic Forum starts in Davos on Wednesday. The world financial crisis, the growing influence of state investment funds and the increase of prices for food will be in the centre of attention.
The meeting will last till January 27. About 2.5 thousand delegates including 27 leaders of states, 113 ministers, 74 top-managers of the biggest world companies will take part in it. One of the co-heads of the forum is a former British Prime-Minister Tony Blair and a former US State Secretary Henry Kissinger.
