World marks International Tolerance Day

International Tolerance Day was established by UN general Assembly in 1995 in order to promote the ideas of tolerance and understanding as well as cultural and historic diversity of people. A UN declaration says that people naturally differ in their looks, social status, speech, behaviors and values and have the right to live in this world and preserve their identity.

140 nationalities are represented in Belarus. Under the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, every citizen is entitled to freedom of religion and nationality.
