Youth activist Andrei Kim to stand trial on April 1
Andrei Kim, a youth opposition activist, is scheduled to appear in Minsk's Central District Court on April 1, reports Belapan. Kim was detained during an unauthorized protest action by entrepreneurs on January 21, 2008 and arrested for 10 days.
When his arrest term expired, Kim was transferred to a pre-trial detention facility. A criminal case was opened against Andrei Kim on charges of violence or threatening with violence against a police officer.
