Youth activist Kryscina Sacikava gets warning

It has been just revealed that the Commission for the Affairs of Minors in the city of Mahiliou on June 11 in absentia reviewed the case of Kaciaryna Sacikava, a prominent youth activist. The commission reprimanded the young woman over her bad behavior in upbringing her children.

Several days ahead of the commission's sitting, Kryscina filed an application requesting to postpone the hearing for another date, as she had to stand as a witness in a Vicebsk court on June 11.

However, she never received a respond to her letter. Kryscina's lawyer filed a motion seeking to familiarize himself with the case and the verdict but was denied.

Sacikava is set to appeal the warning at a local district court in Mahiliou.
