Youth activists released from KGB custody
The activists are the suspects in the criminal case opened against them on charges of acting on behalf of an unregistered organization.
They were detained on February 4 in Minsk.
" I was taken to a new KGB building at Kazlova, 6. I was interrogated there. They were taking down my explanations of why I was present at the moment of the raid in the apartment.
Then, they offered me coffee and treated in a somewhat friendly way. They asked me to write a statement that I was withdrawing from the Malady Front and to tell them about the structure of the organization.
At about 1 a.m. they took me to a KGB custody and undressed me completely. I was sitting naked for three days. There was a bed, a cup and two plates in the cell," Zmicier told the European Radio for Belarus.
Aleg Korban was in the similar conditions. He was held in a neighboring cell. According to Khvedaruk, he was refusing to accept food for three days.
