Yury Hashchavatski prepares new “Square”
Producer Yury Hashchavatski has looked through all the photo and video reports about violations during the voting at the presidential election available on the Internet. He is also receiving a lot of video materials from October Square and Independence Square made by different people on December 19 and 20. Hashchavatski is going to make a new film with their help.
Yury Hashchavatski: “There were a lot of operators and they made a lot of video materials. I am receiving them from everywhere – people keep bringing, offering and presenting them. There are exclusive videos and a huge number of videos made by different TV companies. I have the material”.
Hashchavatski has confessed that he was planning to highlight the system of violations and election rigging in election centres in his film. However, he is inclined to pay more attention to the events in the square now. The brutal dispersal of the peaceful action demonstrates the essence of the current regime better.
