Zeltzer’s secretary to stay in one-man cell until deportation
A Russian citizen Vladlena Funk (Bruskova) will be deported to Russia on March 13. Her lawyer Zmitser Harachka has informed about it. Let us remind you that 31-year-old Vladlena Funk has been released from Homel women’s colony and the police immediately delivered her to a confinement cell.
Vladlena Funk, secretary of an American lawyer Emmanuel Zetzer, and the lawyer himself were detained in Minsk on March 12, 2008. Minsk City Court returned them guilty of using fake documents and attempts of commercial spying on August 11.
A US citizen Zeltzer was sentenced to three years of imprisonment and Funk – to 12 months. The Belarusian Supreme Court did not change the sentence on October 31. All hearings were closed.
According to Zmitser Harachka who managed to meet Funk, “she is slightly shocked” at the events taking place. The Russian will stay in a one-man camera until the deportation.
