Cognac to be produced from Belarusian grapes

Belarus is going to organize cognac production within the next few years. Vineyards are being created in the country’s southern regions.
The increase of the average annual temperature by 4 degrees in Belarus has made wine-growing possible in the southern regions.

Specialists think that domestic brandy can be produced in Belarus to replace the import if high-quality grapes are gathered. Grapes “Crystal” and “Bianca” recommended for Belarus suit the purpose best.
